Impacted teeth means wisdom teeth which come cross and get stuck in the bone below your gingval tissue and causing pain and swelling due to infection and if it is not treated properly it may cause major problems in the future or even weaken your mandible bone.
Some wisdom teeth can be managed by removing the tissue which lies above the teeth if teeth position is straight this procedure is medically called as OPERCULECTOMY
The other wisdom which can't be managed with operculectomy should be removed surgically
